Our Mission

To provide leadership and assistance to renal dialysis and transplant facilities in a manner
that supports continuous improvement in patient care, outcomes, safety and satisfaction.

Challenging Patient Management

One of the emerging issues that ESRD Networks face is that of helping dialysis facilities manage challenging patients. Our goal is to provide renal professionals with skills and resources to ensure the safety and security of all patients, employees and others in the dialysis facility.

Network 18 has available staff who are experienced in dialysis facility operations and formally trained in conflict resolution/challenging patient management principles. We offer periodic workshops for dialysis facility staff. We also have other various reference materials, information, and documents that support effective management of these difficult situations.
