ESRD Network 18 - Quality Improvement

The purpose of the Network QI program is to improve the quality of care in ESRD facilities in the Southern California region.

This is accomplished through a variety of activities:

Participation in CMS (Medicare) special projects and studies
Produce Network-specific special studies
Monitor patterns of care/clinical outcomes at the facility level and provide feedback
Provide consultation and/or site visitation to facilities for quality improvement and corrective action plan follow-up
Provide QI educational workshops for facility staff
Oversee the patient grievance process
